In art, we have been learning about sketching and shading. We have learnt that the pressure you use with your pencil can make the shading darker or lighter. To shade you must follow 4 rules :- 

• use the side of the pencil
• shade in one direction
• press evenly
• leave no gaps

We found this quite tricky but we all had a good try at creating shade using different pressure with our pencil.
