Year 1 had acquired some duck eggs to hatch in class. Sadly, only 4 out of the 5 eggs hatched, but the 4 ducklings soon started to find their (webbed) feet. As they grew a little more, each class went into the hall to experience holding and watching the ducks. One or two of our class were a little unsure about holding a duckling. Miss Partington said that the ducklings seemed to like settling onto people if they laid down. As you can see from our photos, this was a success. We were very grateful for the opportunity to interact with the cutest ducklings ever.
