The National Year of Reading has been a wonderful opportunity for our school to celebrate the joy of books and storytelling. As part of this, we introduced a book club, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm as they explored different stories together, sharing ideas and recommendations with their peers. One of the highlights was reading in different places around the school, which made the experience even more exciting and engaging. From cosy corners in the classroom to outdoor spaces, the children loved discovering new environments to enjoy their books. Overall, it has helped to inspire a real love of reading across the school.
