We had an amazing time in Year 2 on World Book Day. We all came dressed as our favourite book character or a book character we know about. We all took part in a library book hunt. We had to find different kinds of books from our scavenger hunt sheet. Some of the books we had to find were :  a book about an animal, a book about space, a book by an author with a name beginning with the same letter as our name, a book about another country and a few others. We also had a worksheet with lots of book characters on all over the page. We had to count how many of each character we could find. The last activity was to make a bookmark. If we finished all 3 activities, we could choose a book to read and read anywhere in the classroom. We really enjoyed doing this.
