Tints and Shades

In art this half-term we have been looking at shades and tints of colour. Adding black to a colour is making a shade and adding white to a colour is making tint. They then looked closely at an apple looking where the light and dark areas were, using their knowledge of how to make tints and shades, to produce a three dimensional painting of the apple studied.
