In this unit, the children started by planting their own seeds which they had to take home and care for. They are doing amazingly well at this. We love receiving the Tapestry photographs of their plants growing taller and some have even flowered. We learnt what a plant needs to grow and survive. We learnt that a plant is a living thing just like humans and animals. We explored our school grounds looking for different plants such as daisies and daffodils. We went on a hunt to see if we could find any evergreen and deciduous trees.
