Home Learning booklets are now going to be available for collection Monday to Friday for the current week.
As we now have so many groups of children in school, with different arrival and leaving times, to maintain social distancing, please can you only collect them between these times:
Monday - Friday 9:30 - 11:00, and 1:15 - 2:45
Please make sure that the pack you pick up, contains 3 items:
the guidance booklet from Classroom Secrets
the Classroom Secrets Workbook,
a newly added topic pack.
They are bundled together.
This week’s topic pack is Where I Live
The booklets are in year group boxes, on the wall by the slope, near the office. Please use the hand sanitiser before opening the boxes. Please make sure that you replace the lids carefully on the box, ready for the next user.
Please make sure that you are getting the booklets for the correct year group!
Social Distancing, Handwashing, Going to School in a Bubble...
I'm sure most of you by now have explained to your children: how to wash their hands properly; why they can't hug people that they don't live with; why they are supposed to stay 2 metres away from people they don't live with.
If you haven't, we thought the following videos might be helpful. Please watch them before you share them with your child, so that you know what's in the content, and to think about any questions, that your child may ask.
We plan to use these (or similar) in school with our KeyWorker/Vulnerable 'Bubbles', and Reception/Year 1/Year 6 'Bubbles' on their return, as part of our PHSE work.

We have arranged a trial of Maths Factor for all the children, through ActiveLearn, while school remains shut. The program aims to consolidate arithmetic skills, while developing fluency. Each unit consists of a video, a warm-up and a practice session.
Each child has been allocated 3 tasks. A further 3 tasks will be added each Monday. Please encourage your child to use the program.
They can access the program at https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/ using their normal ActiveLearn password.

If your child has forgotten their username or password for ActiveLearn, please email school, putting the email title as: FAO Miss Partington – Maths Factor, together with your child’s name and year group.
