A Year 5 class had a great time on their trip to the Imperial War Museum North, where they learnt about the history of war across different time periods, especially World War I and World War II. They got stuck into lots of fun activities that made learning fascinating. One of the best parts of the day was meeting a World War II evacuee, who shared their own experiences and helped the children understand what life was like during the war.
