Year 4 used some of the new techniques they had learnt when painting – stippling, dabbing, water colours. They also used their new skills of colour mixing – tint (adding white to a colour) and shades (adding black to a colour), to show the light and dark areas when painting. They produced a painting using all or some of these new skills.
