In Year 5, the children have started to look at making portraits of themselves. To do this, they used a mirror to look at the details of their faces, then used the continuous line drawing technique to recreate their faces. Once they had completed this, they placed another piece of paper over their first portraits and wrote sentences about themselves on the lines they previously drew. The children enjoyed the challenge of creating their portraits and trying to get every detail they saw within their art.
