For our school trip this year, we went to Blackpool Zoo for the day. We arrived and went straight into a workshop where a lady spoke to us all about some of the animals at the zoo, and we could even explore some of the animal artefacts they had out for us. We could feel ostrich and peacock feathers, a tortoise shell, snake skin and more. We had lunch, before heading off to feed the Lorikeets, which was an experience enjoyed by all. We were then free to explore the zoo in our groups. We saw elephants, lions, tigers, gorillas, orangutans, sea lions, plenty of birds and small primates and more. The children got back onto the coach a lot more tired than how they got on it in the morning. A truly enjoyed and memorable trip! Roll on next year's trip to the farm.
