We have a great School Council with representatives from Year 2 to Year 5. We meet regularly throughout each term. Mrs Statham leads the group with the help of Miss Mawdsley.

They have currently been very busy with the Intergenerational Project with our neighbours at Hollybank Nursing home. They have been super representatives of the school. They should be very proud of themselves. Their behaviour and conduct has been exceptional. The residents look forward to talking to our children so much. They also recently raised an amazing £140 in a raffle for the care home!

The School Council have also worked more widely with our Trust entering a competition to design a child-friendly Safeguarding Poster for all the schools in the trust. The winning poster was selected by Mrs Macadam - CEO of The Collective Community Trust.

The Councillors will also be working with Mrs Statham to write a child-friendly Behaviour & Anti-Bullying Policy for our school.

They will also be planning some fundraising events for school as well ... And hopefully running Cams Lane's Got Talent in the Summer term!
